The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all occupants. This role involves performing a variety of custodial tasks, including cleaning, floor care, and facilities maintenance. Responsibilities Perform routine cleaning of assigned areas, including offices, restrooms, hallways, and common areas. Operate cleaning equipment such as floor buffers and vacuums to maintain high standards of cleanliness. Conduct thorough industrial cleaning tasks as required to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report any shortages or needs to management. Carry out basic facilities maintenance tasks to support the overall upkeep of the building. Ensure that all cleaning activities are performed in accordance with established safety protocols. Respond promptly to any urgent cleaning requests or spills to maintain a safe environment. Receive and restock food supplies, organize inventory, and ensure proper storage according to safety standards. Qualifications Previous experience in custodial or commercial restaurant or cafe cleaning is preferred but not required. Familiarity with floor care techniques. Knowledge of industrial cleaning practices and safety standards is advantageous. Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain high cleanliness standards consistently. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Good physical stamina; must be able to lift and move items as necessary while performing job duties.
