Lead Janitor OZM Enterprises Inc Mahwah, NJ 07495 Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Janitor Lead to make sure contracted cleaning tasks and projects are complete. The ideal candidate will be responsible for inspecting completed units at a large residential complex to make sure teams have completed contracted detailed cleaning tasks. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. You must be willing to work hands on and assist with cleaning tasks as necessary. Responsibilities Walk building areas to check each housing unit for completion of cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors as well as deep cleaning and stain removal, such as high and low dusting, corners and carpet spot cleaning. Assist with facilities maintenance tasks to ensure the overall upkeep of the property. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly. Follow all safety protocols and guidelines while performing cleaning duties. Experience Previous experience in Lead and positions in commercial cleaning or custodial services is preferred but not required. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of cleanliness. Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a clean environment.
