JOB DESCRIPTION

In this position, you will work to maintain a clean environment in our Vineland location plant and offices. In addition to cleaning, duties include restocking supplies and maintaining outdoor areas.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS/DUTIES

1. Maintain the cleanliness of the office, breakroom, and restroom areas 2. Clean floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming 3. Clean restroom fixtures, mirrors, toilets and restock dispensers 4. Clean break room fixtures, and appliances 5. Remove waste and empty trash 6. Clean window glass 7. Disinfect high-touch surfaces 8. Maintain outdoor areas by sweeping entrances and emptying cigarette butt collectors 9. Replenish cleaning and maintenance supplies 10. Organize janitorial storage areas 11. Shovel sidewalks and spread salt during winter weather events 12. Notify supervisors about unsafe conditions or the need for major maintenance repairs 13. Clean mini-split filters 14. Small maintenance repairs toilet seats, light bulbs, replacing ceiling tiles, and installing toiletry/soap dispensers 15. Operating electric floor scrubber 16. Clean plant machinery 17. Operating on-site street sweepers

POSITION TYPE/EXPECTED HOURS

This is a full-time position and it incorporates work hours outside of normal business hours with a typical shift starting at 4:00 AM, Monday through Friday.

PAY:

$16.00 – $17.00 Hourly

QUALIFICATIONS

1. Valid NJ driver’s license 2. 1-5 years experience working in the custodial/janitorial field 3. Must be able to do physical work and operate equipment normally found in janitorial operations 4. Ability to follow a schedule and keep commitments 5. Manage time efficiently while working independently 6.
