We are a busy ambulatory surgical center looking for a full-time maintenance/cleaning employee. Our ideal candidate must be an energetic team player who is very detail oriented, hardworking, and takes pride in their work. At Pleasantdale, we have a very pleasant work environment that is friendly and patient oriented. This position includes on the job training to assist in cleaning the operating rooms in between cases. Excellent benefits package included. Occasional Saturdays are mandatory. Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning and sanitation of all areas within the facility, ensuring a safe and hygienic environment. Execute floor care tasks, including sweeping, mopping, and buffing, to maintain cleanliness and appearance. Adhere to OSHA regulations and safety protocols while handling cleaning chemicals and equipment. Collaborate with hospital staff to address specific cleaning needs and maintain high standards of environmental services. Document cleaning activities and report any maintenance issues promptly. Qualifications Proven experience in cleaning and sanitation within environmental services Knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety practices Prior janitorial or custodial experience, preferably in a hospital setting Expertise in floor care and maintenance Familiarity with commercial cleaning standards and procedures Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a safe and clean environment
