The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in various facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all occupants. This role requires a proactive approach to custodial tasks, with an emphasis on industrial cleaning and facilities maintenance. Duties Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming in designated areas. Maintain cleanliness of classroom, restrooms, break rooms, and common areas to ensure hygiene standards are met. Conduct floor care activities such as buffing and waxing to maintain the appearance of various surfaces. Assist with commercial cleaning projects as needed, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively. Carry out custodial duties in accordance with safety protocols and company policies. Address and correct any maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly. Support painting projects when required, contributing to overall facility upkeep. Experience Previous experience in industrial cleaning or custodial roles is preferred but not mandatory. Familiarity with facilities maintenance practices is a plus. Knowledge of floor care techniques and equipment operation is advantageous. Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high cleanliness standards.
