The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in various facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all occupants. This role requires a proactive approach to cleaning and maintenance tasks, with a focus on both commercial and residential spaces. Responsibilities Perform routine cleaning tasks including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors. Maintain cleanliness in restrooms, break rooms, and common areas. Conduct floor care activities such as buffing, waxing, and polishing surfaces. Assist with facilities maintenance tasks as needed to ensure the upkeep of the building. Handle industrial cleaning duties, including the use of specialized equipment and cleaning agents. Manage waste disposal and recycling processes effectively. Respond promptly to cleaning requests or emergencies to maintain a safe environment. Collaborate with team members to ensure all areas are well-maintained and presentable. Experience Previous experience in custodial or commercial cleaning roles is preferred. Familiarity with facilities maintenance practices is advantageous. Skills in residential painting or porter duties are a plus. Ability to operate floor care equipment safely and efficiently. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards. Excellent time management skills to complete tasks efficiently within designated timeframes.
