Job Location:

Various restaurants throughout the Nassau County South Shore area. Must be able to get themselves from one location to the other in one night. We are seeking a dedicated Cleaner to join our team. As a Cleaner, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in various facilities. Your attention to detail and commitment to providing a clean and safe environment will contribute to the overall satisfaction of our clients and employees.

Responsibilities:

KITCHEN CLEANING

Includes

• Kitchen equipment cleaning, floors, vacuuming, rinsing, wiping down walls, shelves & handles, polishing metal and other cleaning task to make sure the kitchen is in Grade “A’ Condition.

FRONT OF THE RESTAURANT CLEANING

Includes

• Cleaning & disinfecting restrooms. Empty & remove rubbish from the premises to designated area. Vacuum, Sweep/mop floors. Hand dust fixtures, windowsills, lights and all other horizontal surfaces. Clean and polish all metal hardware fixtures and other bright work. Follow all safety and personnel rules and regulations. Perform other duties as assigned.
• Job duties and location may be modified at any time.

Experience:

• Previous experience in commercial, restaurant, or industrial cleaning is preferred
• Knowledge of floor care techniques such as buffing and waxing is a plus
• Familiarity with custodial practices and facilities maintenance is beneficial

• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Good time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
• Excellent communication skills to interact with clients and colleagues
