Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Porter to maintain cleanliness and curb appeal at a residential/commercial property in Nassau County, Long Island. The ideal candidate is punctual, proactive, and takes pride in creating a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for tenants and visitors.

Key Responsibilities:

Clean and maintain building entrances, lobbies, hallways, elevators, stairwells, and common areas Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors Empty trash and recycling receptacles and dispose of waste properly Clean windows, glass doors, and light fixtures Monitor and maintain exterior grounds including sidewalks, parking lots, and garbage enclosures Report maintenance issues (e.g. leaks, broken fixtures, safety hazards) to management Assist with light snow removal, de-icing walkways, and seasonal upkeep as needed Respond to management requests and emergencies in a timely manner Perform other custodial and porter-related duties as assigned

Requirements:

Prior porter, janitorial, or custodial experience preferred Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks throughout the shift Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently Must be authorized to work in the U.S. Punctual with a strong work ethic and attention to detail Available to work required schedule: Sunday to Tuesday, 8AM-5
