We seek reliable and responsible workers who are always on time, follow the company’s dress code and wear their assigned uniform & care about our customers. You are critical to the success of our organization because you represent the company at the customer’s site. As a Cleaning Specialist, you are responsible for providing exceptional customer service and making sure the facility is always neat and presentable to the guest/clients. Perform maintenance task including but not limited to cleanliness, appearance and assist in other duties as the client’s needs may change.

Schedule/Shift:

Porter Schedule:

Thursday•Monday | 5am/ 6am•4pm (must be flexible) (1hr unpaid lunch)

Matron Schedule:

Tuesday•Saturday | 6am•4pm (must be flexible) (1hr unpaid lunch)

Pay Rate:

$18.00•$19.00 Bonus Pay + Transportation Comp + 1 Week of Paid Vacation after 1 year

Minimum Requirements:

Able to travel and commute within all boroughs of NYC ($34 Travel Comp in addition to pay) Bilingual English/Spanish Strong communicative skills Able to follow directions and work with minimal supervision, as well as in a team. Excellent Customer Service Skills Time Management Willingness to learn Adaptability•Being able to work in a fast pace environment and multitask.

Responsibilities:

Must be client/guest focused at all times while on the clock, while following Safety’s Policies. Punctuality when reporting to work and preforming work duties. Maintain a clean and neatly groomed uniform, by following Safety’s Uniform Policy. Maintain Female bathroom and/or locker room stocked, clean and safe at all times. Perform daily/weekly walkthroughs throughout the area/location of work. (

Ex:

Kitchen, Common Areas, Bathrooms, etc.) Maintain all equipment by neatly storing, using, and keeping track of. Handling cleaning supplies and controlling usage for inventory. Communicating any facility work needed to be completed to the management team. Weekly Deep cleaning checklist. (As needed)

Physical Requirements:

walking and standing during the entire shift (often 4-8 hours), climbing stairs, kneeling to clean floors, pushing and pulling objects, lifting and moving objects (up to 50 lbs), repetitive bending and lifting, and repetitive arm movement.
