Skills:

• Possess knowledge of safe operation of cleaning equipment
• Must be able to safely jockey equipment into and out of the wash bay.

• License:

  Must maintain a valid driver’s license

• Physical Requirements:

• Ability and strength to walk, stand, stoop, squat, bend, climb and lift frequently during a workday.
• Must have the ability to lift and carry equipment and cleaning supplies weighing up to one
• hundred pounds Responsibilities
• Wash tractors and trailers by soaping, degreasing, scrubbing, rinsing and or sanitizing.
• Transport equipment into and out of the wash bay.
• Sanitize milk trailers (inside), milk pumps and hoses. (This is a Phelps function)
• Transfer milk from trailer to trailer (Phelps function)
• Maintain paperwork
• Monitor cleaning supplies
• Keep bay clean and cleaning equipment neat and organized
• Wash equipment for outside accounts(Rensselaer function)
• Monitor water supply (Phelps function)
• Learn and adhere to all applicable company rules, policies and procedures
• Immediately report any damage to facilities and equipment
• Use Tools provided correctly and return to their proper place when finished
• Demonstrate safe work habits
• Able to understand scope of work and complete with little or no supervision
• Willingness to work in/around facility and grounds regarding sweeping, cleaning, assist mechanics as needed, mow lawn, building maintenance.
• Cleaning of tractors on inside as necessary.
• All personnel must be reliable, must report for duty on time, and must be available for overtime when required.
• All personnel must keep management informed.
• All personnel must maintain a good working relationship with customers, vendors, co-workers, and management.

Job Type:

Full-time Pay:

$20.00 – $23.00 per hour
