This role is critical to ensuring a hygienic and comfortable home for our residents, who rely on a supportive and well-maintained living space. The ideal candidate will be proactive, dependable, and committed to upholding high standards of cleanliness. Experience in cleaning, especially in residential or care-based settings, is a strong asset. Responsibilities Perform daily floor care, including sweeping, and mopping. Empty waste bins and dispose of trash and recycling properly. Dust and wipe down surfaces such as furniture, baseboards, windowsills, light fixtures, and appliances. Clean and disinfect bathrooms, including toilets, sinks, showers, mirrors, and floors. Sanitize high-touch surfaces and maintain hygiene throughout the home. Clean and organize the kitchen, including countertops, appliances, and dining areas. Wash, dry, fold, and organize laundry. Assist with seasonal or special cleaning projects (e.g., holiday preparation or deep cleaning tasks). Follow established cleaning protocols and use appropriate cleaning agents safely. Perform other duties as assigned to support the overall cleanliness and organization of the home. Requirements Previous experience in residential cleaning, housekeeping, or janitorial work preferred. Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions carefully. Proactive and self-motivated, with the ability to identify and complete tasks without constant supervision.
