  • An Environmental Services Worker performs environmental services duties in accordance with established standards and regulations including: maintaining a clean, sanitary hospital environment and providing and distributing clean linen supplies.

Ensures departments and stocked with toiletries in restrooms.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent. Related experience preferred. On-the-job training provided. Proficient communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to follow oral and written instructions. Ability to adapt to routine, repetitive manual tasks. Manual dexterity and motor coordination to operate equipment. Ability to work as a team. Ability to exercise sound judgment. Work is of medium demand. Routine lifting requirements of less than 50 pounds. Standing and walking required for most of the shift. Pushing, pulling, lifting, stooping, reaching, and climbing required. Generally, works inside. Risk of exposure of communicable diseases, chemicals, and hazardous waste.
