Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Custodian to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in floor care, industrial cleaning, and custodial services. This position involves maintaining cleanliness and appearance of floors in the facility.

Duties:

Maintains areas assigned in a clean, sanitary and attractive condition Uses housekeeping equipment according to instructions Maintains and cleans all machines associated with the job. Completes daily checklist of duties Strips and waxes all floors in the facility, as scheduled Utilizes appropriate isolation room procedures Replaces supplies in each assigned area Adheres to infection control regulations Attends all mandatory education Is on-call for emergencies related to Building Services responsibilities Removes hazardous articles which may be on floors, furniture and equipment and places them in designated receptacles or in appropriate places Moves furniture and equipment in connection with cleaning and care functions Uses manual and/or mechanical equipment to remove snow and/or ice on outdoor walkways, entrances, exits and staircases

Qualifications:

High school graduate or equivalent One year experience working in a healthcare facility strongly preferred Ability to lift a maximum of 50 (fifty) pounds during work assignment In case of an emergency, performs duties as directed by management If you are passionate about maintaining clean and safe environments, we invite you to apply for the Custodian position with us.
