Victoria’s Nails and spa 1960 Jericho Turnpike, East Northport, NY 11731 Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in various environments, including commercial and residential spaces. This role requires a proactive approach to cleaning tasks, ensuring that all areas meet high standards of hygiene and presentation. Duties Perform general cleaning duties in assigned areas, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming. Maintain cleanliness in facilities through routine custodial tasks. Conduct floor care activities such as buffing and polishing to ensure surfaces are well-maintained. Assist with industrial cleaning tasks as required, ensuring compliance with safety protocols. Manage waste disposal and recycling efforts effectively. Collaborate with team members to ensure all cleaning tasks are completed efficiently and to standard. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly. Occasionally assist with residential painting projects as needed. Experience Previous experience in facilities maintenance or commercial cleaning is preferred. Familiarity with custodial practices and equipment operation is advantageous. Skills in buffing and floor care techniques are a plus. Experience as a porter or in industrial cleaning environments will be beneficial. Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain high cleanliness standards. Excellent time management skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
