JOB SUMMARY
The Facility Staff member will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our soccer facilities, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining a safe and clean environment for our users. This role follows all company procedures, including the daily completion of opening and closing checklists. This position could have 3 others part-time jobs responsibilities from time to time as Coach, Host or Manager with the Responsibilities below. The Facility Staff reports to the Facility Manager.
ABOUT THE JOB
Responsibilities as a
Facility Staff :
- Open and close facilities as scheduled, ensuring all areas are secure and prepared for use. Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify and report any maintenance or repair needs.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of facilities, including fields, locker rooms, and common areas.
- Provide excellent customer service to users, responding to questions and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
- Assist with event setup and teardown, including field preparation and equipment installation.
- Monitor and enforce facility rules and regulations, ensuring a safe and respectful environment for all users.
- Perform basic maintenance tasks, such as cleaning equipment and reporting any issues to the maintenance team.
- Collaborate with other facility staff members to ensure seamless operations and excellent customer service.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date on facility operations and customer service best practices.
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers following standard recipes and presentation guidelines.
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area, including stocking inventory and washing glassware.
- Handle cash and process transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Verify customer age and ID for alcohol purchases.
- Conduct the inventory if necessary and/or welcome the customers when needed..
- Provide excellent customer service, upselling and cross-selling food and beverage items when appropriate. Responsabilities as a Coach for Birthday, Camp or Classes
- Plan and lead training sessions to improve player skills.
- Strategize and oversee team performance during training.
- Mentor players to foster development and teamwork. Responsabilities as a Host for Birthday, Camp of Classes
- Greet parents and players upon arrival.
- Ensure smooth check-in for players and coaches.
- Provide an excellent experience during classes, camps, and birthday events. Responsabilities as a Manager League of Tournament
- Deliver an exceptional experience for all participants.
- Check in with teams, players, and referees to ensure smooth operations.
- Manage game schedules, organization, and rankings.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred
- Prior bartending or food service experience preferred
- Knowledge of responsible alcohol service guidelines and local liquor laws Must be of legal age to serve alcohol in your jurisdiction
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Physical ability to lift, bend, and move equipment as needed
- Availability to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Basic knowledge of soccer facility operations and maintenance
P REFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience working in a sports or recreation facility environment
- Familiarity with soccer facility equipment and operations
- Bilingual or multilingual skills
WORKING CONDITIONS
- High-performing facility staff may be given opportunities for added responsibilities, such as managing birthday, events or hosting youth classes and camps, and may also be considered for advancement to roles like Assistant Manager within the company
- Hourly based salary $16.5/hour
