Custodian Keuka Park, NY
Description Keuka College is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Custodian to uphold the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation across our beautiful campus. This role is critical in ensuring that all facilities are clean, safe, and welcoming for our students, employees, and visitors. The ideal candidate will be a team player with excellent time management skills and a strong commitment to maintaining a clean and organized environment. This position is scheduled for Monday through Friday, from 12:00 PM to 8:30 PM.

Essential Responsibilities:

Perform general cleaning and sanitizing throughout assigned buildings.
Maintain neat and orderly supply closets; ensure cleaning materials are adequately stocked.
Clean and sanitize bathrooms, kitchens, hallways, classrooms, offices, living spaces, and common areas.
Conduct restorative floor care including vacuuming, mopping, buffing, stripping, and waxing.
Collect and dispose of trash and recycling appropriately.
Report safety hazards or maintenance issues to the Lead Custodian or Facilities Manager.
Perform other cleaning and custodial tasks as assigned.

Physical Requirements:

Prolonged periods of standing and walking. Ability to bend, stoop, climb, reach, and lift up to 50 pounds. Capability to safely operate custodial tools and equipment. Flexibility for occasional evening and weekend assignments as needed. What We Offer –

Requirements Minimum Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent required.
