The ideal candidate will help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for customers and staff by performing routine cleaning in high-traffic retail areas. This role requires reliability, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Responsibilities Perform daily cleaning duties throughout the store, including sales floor, restrooms, break rooms, entrances, and checkout areas Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors regularly to maintain a safe and polished appearance Clean and sanitize surfaces such as shopping carts, baskets, checkout counters, freezer handles, and door glass Empty trash bins and properly dispose of waste from various departments Restock paper products and cleaning supplies in restrooms and staff areas Report any spills, maintenance needs, or safety hazards to the store manager or supervisor immediately Follow store cleaning schedules and adhere to all health and safety guidelines Assist with deep-cleaning projects during non-peak hours or after store closing Qualifications Previous experience in cleaning, janitorial, or retail store maintenance preferred but not required Strong attention to detail and ability to follow cleaning routines accurately Comfortable working in a busy, customer-facing environment Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and also coordinate with team members Physically able to perform cleaning tasks, including standing, bending, lifting, and using cleaning equipment for extended periods Reliable, punctual, and takes pride in maintaining a clean shopping environment Join our team today and help us provide a clean, safe, and pleasant shopping experience for our customers!
