Custodian Systems Int Ltd Moon, PA 15108 Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Custodian to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all occupants. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to perform a variety of cleaning tasks efficiently. Responsibilities Perform custodial duties including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting in assigned areas. Maintain cleanliness in restrooms, break rooms, and common areas by regularly sanitizing surfaces and replenishing supplies. Conduct floor care activities such as buffing, stripping, and waxing to ensure floors are well-maintained. Assist with residential painting and minor repairs as needed to enhance the appearance of facilities. Carry out commercial and industrial cleaning tasks according to established protocols and safety standards. Respond promptly to cleaning requests or emergencies to maintain a clean environment. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel. Ensure proper use of cleaning supplies and equipment while adhering to safety guidelines. Requirements Previous experience in custodial or facilities maintenance is preferred but not required. Knowledge of commercial cleaning techniques and equipment operation is a plus. Familiarity with floor care procedures including buffing and maintenance is desirable. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills. Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods. A commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in all assigned areas.
