SUMMARY:
Great opportunity to be part of the Upper St. Clair School district to maintain a clean and neat school facility and grounds for students, teachers, staff and members of the community in order to protect their health and safety.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Clean designated spaces, equipment and materials Perform room and equipment set-up and breakdown for activities and events Perform seasonal athletic fields and general grounds work Perform general labor functions including unloading bulk material from trucks Assist in the maintenance and repair of equipment and facilities including duties such as repairing lockers, hanging pictures and painting Maintain building and grounds security Report building, grounds, and equipment conditions that may need remedied or repaired Participate in fire and emergency drills, know emergency procedures and the location and use of first-aid and firefighting equipment Move furniture and equipment Assists visitors utilizing the facilities Responsible for the preservation and maintenance of assigned tools and equipment Operate various floor equipment, including battery-powered auto-scrubbers/buffers and high-speed/high torque propane burnishers Perform snow-removal, both operation of fuel-powered snow removal equipment and manual removal using shovel Perform other duties as assigned
REQUIREMENTS
: High School Diploma or equivalent Experience working in a Team Environment Previous custodian experience a plus Candidates will be required to take post-offer; pre-employment drug test and work capacity evaluation (“WCE”). The WCE includes various physical attributes including push/pull up to 90 lbs. and lift up to 55 lbs.
