SUMMER CUSTODIAN

(June 16 – August 8,2025)

Work Schedule :

8:00 am – 4:00 pm, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday The Environmental Charter School is looking for a highly dedicated and motivated individuals for our school to assist with custodial duties during the summer. Successful candidates must be progressive minded,and embody a can-do spirit and work ethic.

POSITION OVERVIEW

Under limited supervision, the Custodian will perform janitorial duties that involve cleaning and sanitizing the school facility and its grounds in addition to performing minor maintenance. Work will involve a variety of physical demands. Ability to perform related tasks as required. Should be able to lift a minimum of fifty (50) pounds.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Removing trash, moving furniture and boxes, cleaning furniture, vacuuming/mopping floors & stairwells, stripping/waxing floors, dusting (high level), cleaning light fixtures, mowing grass, planting, etc.

EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND AND WORK EXPERIENCE

High school diploma or equivalent required plus 1-2 years experience helpful. General knowledge of housekeeping, tools, equipment and supplies required

COMPENSATION

$17.35/hour
