The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various environments, including residential, commercial, and industrial settings. This role is essential in ensuring that all areas are hygienic, safe, and welcoming for clients and staff alike. Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of assigned areas, including dusting, mopping, sweeping, and vacuuming. Maintain floors through buffing and floor care techniques to ensure a polished appearance. Conduct routine inspections to identify areas needing attention or special cleaning. Handle custodial duties such as waste disposal and restroom sanitation. Assist with residential painting tasks as needed to maintain aesthetic appeal. Support facilities maintenance by reporting any repairs or maintenance needs promptly. Work collaboratively with team members to ensure all cleaning tasks are completed efficiently. Adhere to safety protocols while using cleaning supplies and equipment. Skills Proficiency in buffing techniques and floor care practices. Strong attention to detail with the ability to clean effectively in various settings. Experience in custodial work, porter duties, or industrial cleaning preferred. Familiarity with commercial cleaning standards and practices is a plus. Ability to maintain a high standard of cleanliness while working independently or as part of a team. Good organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively. Willingness to learn new skills related to cleaning and maintenance tasks.
