General Cleaner Tempest Cleaners LLC Philadelphia County, PA Full Job Description Tempest Cleaners LLC is currently seeking full-time/part-time cleaners. Our cleaners will undertake a variety of custodial activities to maintain the cleanliness of their assigned buildings and facility areas. This position includes the ability to be available on an on-call basis!

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Clean designated facility areas including but not limited to offices, classrooms, cafeterias, multipurpose areas, and bathrooms as well as the schoolyard and walkways (sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, wiping, etc.) Disinfects floors, walls, and toilet bowls; polishes fixtures and mirrors; replenishes bathroom supplies such as tissues, towels, and soap. Collect trash and recycling Outside ground maintenance may include but is not limited to the following: picking or sweeping up debris on sidewalks, entrances, and egresses; emptying trash cans inside and outside of buildings. Maintain janitorial service areas (supply rooms) and stocks cleaning equipment and reports equipment malfunctions Maintain knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies Notify management of all safety-related maintenance concerns, including leaking and non-operating fixtures. Follow all health and safety regulations Cooperate with the rest of the staff

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Ability to handle heavy equipment and machinery Ability to lift at least 25 pounds Establish and maintain healthy and effective working relationships with the team Demonstrate knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies Familiarity with

High School diploma or equivalent (Required) Driver’s License (Required)

Cleaning Experience:

1 year full-time/part-time (Preferred) Ability to commute:

Philadelphia, PA:

Reliably commute to multiple facilities (Required)
