Maintenance Professional:

This position is responsible for building maintenance & custodial services of the school buildings. The maintenance worker reports directly to the maintenance supervisor.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Execute maintenance tasks efficiently and thoroughly, e.g., cleaning, repair, installation, maintenance and alteration of buildings, in addition to performing tasks assigned in maintaining the grounds. Performs all maintenance and custodial functions. Supporting completion of all maintenance and facilities requests. Support record-keeping of repairs, needs, requisitions, time records and work schedules. Perform related duties as required including but not limited to: snow and ice removal, maintenance of school vehicles and school-owned maintenance equipment, reporting needs for repairs, perform regular preventive maintenance on all equipment and buildings as directed by the maintenance supervisor, and certify/receive all deliveries of supplies, equipment and services, etc. Perform related work as required

Qualifications:

Minimum of a high school diploma Possession of a valid PA Driver’s License Experience in general maintenance and custodial duties General knowledge of the following helpful but not necessary: Electrical, Plumbing, and Carpentry. Motivated self-starter who can work independently.
