The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various facilities, ensuring a welcoming environment for all visitors and staff. This role requires a proactive approach to cleaning and maintenance tasks, contributing to the overall efficiency of operations. Duties Perform commercial cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors to ensure cleanliness in all areas. Conduct regular facilities maintenance tasks, addressing any issues promptly to maintain a safe and functional environment. Carry out custodial responsibilities such as emptying trash receptacles, sanitizing restrooms, and replenishing supplies as needed. Engage in industrial cleaning activities that may involve the use of specialized equipment and cleaning agents. Assist with residential painting projects when necessary, ensuring high-quality finishes and attention to detail. Maintain floor care through buffing and polishing to enhance the appearance of surfaces. Collaborate with team members to ensure all areas are clean and well-maintained at all times. Qualifications Previous experience in commercial cleaning or custodial work is preferred but not required. Familiarity with facilities maintenance practices is advantageous. Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness. Capable of performing physical tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods. Knowledge of floor care techniques such as buffing is a plus. Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. A positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team are essential for success in this role.
