Job Summary:

The Sales Porter plays a key support role at the dealership by assisting the sales team with vehicle movement, lot organization, customer service, and dealership appearance. This position ensures that powersports vehicles (motorcycles, ATVs, UTVs, etc.) are showroom- and delivery-ready, contributing to a seamless customer experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Vehicle & Lot Management:

Move units (motorcycles, ATVs, UTVs, etc.) to and from the showroom, lot, and service areas. Maintain an organized and professional appearance of the showroom and outdoor inventory. Ensure vehicles are properly staged for customer delivery or test rides. Assist with unloading and prepping new inventory for display.

Customer Support:

Greet customers upon arrival and assist with initial inquiries or directing them to the appropriate salesperson. Set up demo vehicles for test rides and ensure they are fueled, charged, and clean. Support sales staff in delivering sold units to customers in a timely, professional manner.

Cleaning & Detailing:

Clean and detail powersports vehicles regularly (wiping down, removing dust, polishing, etc.). Maintain cleanliness of showroom floors and outdoor display areas. Assist with dealership cleanliness, including customer areas.

Logistics & Documentation:

Assist with tagging, labeling, and documentation of inventory units. Help with moving trade-in units to service or appraisal areas. Support the team during dealership events or large-volume weekends.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Valid driver’s license with motorcycle endorsement (or willingness to obtain). Ability to safely operate all powersports vehicles. Strong attention to detail. Good communication and teamwork skills. Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in outdoor conditions.

Schedule & Compensation:

Full-time or part-time position with weekend availability. Competitive hourly wage based on experience. Opportunity for growth into service, sales, or logistics roles.
