MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS 1.

Must demonstrate and interest in all necessary assignments. 2. Must have the ability to work cooperatively with others. 3. Must possess a valid driver’s license. 4. Must be competent with reading and writing skills.

MAJOR AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITIES & ESSENTIAL DUTIES

Work with facilities team in a professional supportive manner in planning and carrying out goals and objectives. Must have experience in various semi-skilled task in the maintenance of buildings and grounds. Must have work experience in some of the following areas, construction, plumbing, minor electrical, site work, concrete work, painting, wood work, landscaping. Must be willing to work with trades division or sub-contractors as required. Must be skillful and knowledgeable in the use of, the proper care of and adjustment of tools and equipment. Must have experience in running lawn equipment. Must have experience in operating snow removal equipment including some experience in plowing. Must be available for flex shift during the normal school year Must be available for all emergency work need after hours Must be available for snow removal as needed Must be able to lift 80 lbs. Must be able to be able to unload equipment, school furnishings and any supplies. Must be able to carry out the above task without direct supervision. •

POSITION IN ORGANIZATION

The Custodian will report to the Director of Plant Operations.
