Overview To ensure that Lowes Foods guest service, safety, and store cleanliness standards are maintained throughout the store. Ensure Show standards are implemented and maintained both inside and outside the store. Responsibilities 1. Provide polite, friendly interactions with all guests and co-workers. 2. Ability to use and maintain a floor scrubber and buffer. 3. Maintain cleanliness & sanitation of the floors throughout the store. 4. Clean up spills, sweep, and mop as needed. 5. Maintain a neat and safe work area to allow guests to shop without agitation. 6. Maintain and organize floor chemicals and supplies. 7. Vacuum, steam clean, or shampoo carpeted areas or rugs throughout the store. 8. Ability to strip, seal, and wax floors as needed. 9. Maintain sanitation standards on the sales floor and in the backroom area. 10. Performs front-end duties as necessary to ensure “no noticeable wait” standard is upheld and maintained. 11. Communicates floor maintenance needs to store management. 12. Perform all other duties as assigned by management. Qualifications 1. Friendly, outgoing personality. 2. Ability to work well with others. 3. Ability to lift 40 lbs. constantly and 60 lbs. occasionally. 4. Ability to read and understand information and direction. 5. Knowledge of safety & sanitation guidelines. 6. Demonstrated ability and willingness to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements of the job. 7. Effective communication and guest service skills. 8. Ability to bend, kneel, stand, push/pull, and operate floor equipment for extended periods of time. #LI-RM2
