Description:
The Janitor role is crucial to maintaining the hygiene andcleanliness of our facilities. The ideal candidate will beresponsible for performing a variety of cleaning and maintenanceduties that keep the company’s premises in a clean and orderlycondition. Attention to detail and a positive attitude areessential. Responsibilities Regularly cleaning and sanitizing offices, meeting rooms,bathrooms, kitchens, and public areas. Sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors in all areas of thefacility. Emptying trash receptacles and disposing of waste in a sanitarymanner. Performing minor repairs and maintenance tasks, including but notlimited to replacing light bulbs and unclogging toilets. Ensuring that all cleaning supplies are stored safely and are usedin the correct amounts. Monitoring inventory of cleaning supplies and ordering more asneeded. Reporting any maintenance issues, safety hazards, accidents, orinjuries; complete safety training and certifications. Assisting with setup and teardown for events or meetings. Ensuring exterior areas such as walkways and parking lots are keptclean and free of debris. Complying with all health and safety regulations and practices onsite.
Qualifications and Skills Education:
High School Diploma Previous janitorial or cleaning service experience. Ability to handle equipment and machinery used in cleaning. Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, proper storage, and disposalmethods. Excellent time management skills, ability to multitask, andmaintain schedules. Strong attention to detail and dedication to providing high-qualitywork. Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of ateam. Physical stamina and mobility including the ability to reach,kneel, and bend.
