The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in various facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all occupants. This role requires a proactive approach to cleaning and maintenance tasks, with an emphasis on both commercial and residential spaces. Duties Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming in designated areas. Maintain cleanliness in restrooms, break rooms, and common areas. Conduct floor care activities such as buffing and waxing to ensure high standards of hygiene and appearance. Assist with custodial duties in both commercial and residential settings as needed. Carry out industrial cleaning tasks, ensuring compliance with safety regulations. Support facilities maintenance by reporting any repairs or maintenance needs to management. Ensure all cleaning supplies are stocked and organized for efficient use. Act as a porter by transporting materials or equipment as required throughout the facility. Requirements Proven experience in commercial cleaning or custodial services is preferred. Familiarity with residential painting techniques is a plus. Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain high cleanliness standards. Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and the use of cleaning equipment. Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods. Excellent time management skills to complete tasks efficiently within designated timeframes. A proactive attitude towards maintaining cleanliness and safety in all areas of responsibility. Willingness to work flexible hours as needed.
