out of 5 stars 2978 Lancaster Hwy, Richburg, SC 29729 Janitor I Job Description The Plant Custodian performs custodial work in a manufacturing and office environment. Responsibilities may include janitorial, common area minor maintenance, throughout building interiors and/or exteriors.
What You’ll Do:
Sweeps, vacuums, mops floors throughout the building May remove stains from such surfaces as rugs, drapes, walls, and floors using chemicals and cleaning solutions. Gather and empty trash regularly throughout the day. Service, clean, and supply restrooms. Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors, using soapy water or other cleaners, sponges, and squeegees. Dust furniture, walls, machines, and equipment. Mix water and detergents in containers to prepare cleaning solutions, according to specifications. Wipe tables and chairs with soap and water. Vacuum in designated areas. Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications What You’ll Need:
A minimum of 1 year of relevant experience, preferably in a heavy industrial manufacturing environment Job requires extended periods of walking and/or standing. Operate floor scrubber, vacuum, and other cleaning tools. The ability to maintain reliable and predictable good attendance. A high level of dependability, a great attitude, and an ability to work well with a team towards achieving a common goal.
