Lowcountry Community Action Agency, Inc. is now accepting applications for the position of a Custodian at our

Cottageville, SC Head Start Center Requirements:

A high School Diploma or its equivalent. Some previous experience in custodial work. Must possess a valid driver’s license and available transportation.

Additional requirements:

Must have the ability to read, follow written instructions, and use simple tools. Must possess some experience in performing custodial maintenance. Must be in good physical health and be able to follow oral and written instructions. Must possess general knowledge of proper custodial procedures and must have an annual health statement.

• Perform custodial duties such as cleaning, sanitizing, and maintaining the facility.
• Utilize custodial experience to ensure high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
• Conduct floor care tasks including sweeping, mopping, and buffing as needed.
• Execute commercial cleaning practices to uphold a professional environment.
• Utilize janitorial skills to address maintenance issues promptly.
• Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines while carrying out duties.
