Role:

We are seeking a reliable, flexible, and proactive Handyman, Cleaner & Transporter to support our behavioral health facility with day-to-day maintenance, cleaning tasks, and transportation of clients. This hybrid role is essential to the safe, smooth operation of our program and requires a hands-on individual with a strong sense of urgency, integrity, and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform general handyman repairs and light maintenance throughout the facility (patching walls, fixing doors, basic plumbing, etc.) Clean and sanitize common areas, bathrooms, staff areas, and transport vehicles as needed Provide transportation for clients to and from appointments, stores, and other approved destinations (using your own vehicle when possible; mileage reimbursement available) Be available for emergency repairs or transports on short notice (on-call) Coordinate with external vendors for services such as HVAC, pest control, and plumbing when needed Manage and supervise vendor visits and ensure service completion Report safety or facility concerns promptly to the Operations team

Requirements:

Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record Reliable personal vehicle preferred (must have valid insurance) Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform manual labor General maintenance skills required (painting, light repairs, etc.) Must pass background screening and drug test Ability to be on-call and work flexible hours, including weekends

Preferred:

Previous experience in a residential or healthcare setting Basic knowledge of safety protocols and maintenance best practices
