Hourly / Non-Exempt • Discretionary bonuses given annually in September • Benefits include Medical/Dental/Vision/401k with match up to 3% after 1 year Position Summary The Building Services Crew Member position is responsible for cleaning and maintaining the appearance of all facilities to be patron-ready under the direction of the Building Services Manager and as part of a Building Services Team. Essential Job Functions Clean all surfaces to standards set by the Building Services department. Tasks include, but are not limited to vacuuming, glass cleaning, dusting, carpet extraction, damp mopping, restroom cleaning, etc.
Set up and strike furniture for facility events.
Maintain interior areas and exterior surfaces in all seasons.
Complete all assigned tasks within a reasonable time frame as determined by the Building Services Manager.
Follow the standard operating procedures of the Building Services Department and as well as policies and procedures.
Follow all safety guidelines and processes and report any unsafe working conditions immediately to a member of management.
Perform other related duties and responsibilities as required. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent.
At least one (1) year of housekeeping/custodial experience in a facility environment.
Working knowledge of various cleaning equipment and materials.
Works well independently and in a group setting, a true team player. Job Requirements Ability to follow directions and complete tasks thoroughly and in a timely manner.
Positive attitude and sense of pride in quality of work.
Ability to work a flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends and holidays as assigned.
