AM Pay:
$16.57/hr.•$24.32/hr.
DOE Shift Premium:
$2.50
Position Responsibilities:
Maintain overall cleanliness of three electroplating lines, the waste treatment system, and surrounding areas. Wipe down plating lines regularly. Wash pumps and clean up standing water. Perform heavy, detailed cleaning as needed. Adhere to PPE policy. Pay close attention to labels and safety data sheets (SDS). Use safety equipment and follow safety instructions as directed. Abide by all Company and OSHA safety standards set for work area. Follow daily 5S standards.
Essential Skills and Experience:
High School Diploma or GED (General Education Diploma) equivalent At least 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment Understanding of proper handling and disposal of hazardous industrial chemicals Ability to read and understand SDS (safety data sheets) Strong time management and organizational skills Sound judgment and problem-solving skills Detail-oriented, resourceful, and diligent Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well with others Reliable and committed to attendance expectations Ability to stand for long periods of time Ability to lift 55 pounds repetitively CompX National is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
