Key Responsibilities Facility Cleaning :

Maintain cleanliness in all areas, including restrooms, showers, parking lots, and fueling stations. This involves sweeping, mopping, wiping surfaces, and restocking supplies like towels and windshield solution.

Monster Customer Interaction :

Greet guests warmly and assist with any immediate needs, ensuring they feel valued and appreciated.

Equipment Usage :

Properly use and maintain cleaning equipment and supplies, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and safely.

Additional Duties :

Perform other tasks as assigned by management to support the overall operations of the travel center. Work Environment & Physical Demands Porters are often required to work outdoors in various weather conditions and may be exposed to fumes, dust, and cleaning chemicals. The role involves standing, walking, kneeling, bending, and occasionally lifting up to 50 lbs. Protective equipment is provided to ensure safety during cleaning tasks. A Cashier at TravelCenters of America (TA) plays a vital role in delivering excellent customer service within the travel center environment. This position encompasses responsibilities in both retail and food service settings, depending on the specific location and department.

Key Responsibilities Customer Service Excellence :

Greet and assist customers courteously and efficiently, ensuring a positive experience.

Transaction Processing :

Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems to handle various transactions, including merchandise, fuel, and food services.

Product Management :

Maintain clean, well-stocked areas, ensuring products are organized and readily available.

Safety Compliance :

Adhere to safety guidelines and report any unsafe conditions promptly.

Team Collaboration :

Work closely with co-workers and management to meet store objectives and customer needs.

Additional Duties :

Depending on the role, responsibilities may include stocking merchandise, assisting in food preparation, or training new staff.

Qualifications Experience :

Prior cashier or customer service experience is preferred.

Skills :
