Warehouse Housekeeping Division/Department :

Retail Logistics Reports to: RSC Department Manager The Housekeeper will be responsible for operating the floor scrubber and other clearing duties as assigned. Their primary responsibility is as a cleaner, but may also perform safety audit tasks. Responsibilities are primarily indoors, some work may be required outdoors part of the time. As with all of the company’s office or facility specific positions, being at work on time and maintaining good attendance is a condition of employment and is an essential function of this position. Regular attendance is not only essential for a business to operate efficiently, but attendance and punctuality are good measures of your interest in your job and will impact your annual review. Description Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. + Operate and maintain floor scrubber + Sorting pallets and sorting and cleaning totes + Notify supervisors about unsafe conditions or concerning the need for repairs or maintenance + Ability to observe safety and security procedures and to comply with policies + Ability to read and interpret written information; ability to write clear statements; ability to communicate orally + Must be able to do physical work and operate power equipment normally found in custodial operations + Ability to learn processes and procedures for dumping cardboard, plastic, and trash. + Ability to stand and/or walk for duration of the shift + Attention to detail + Ability to follow schedules and keep commitments + Ability to follow directions from a supervisor + Ability to demonstrate professionalism + Must be able to manage time efficiently and to work individually as well as within a team + Work well with others + Be able to assist with spills in the warehouse Physical Requirements + Must be able to repeatedly lift items ranging from 10-50lbs + Must be able to stand, walk, bend, reach, lift carry, push, pull, stop + Must be able to perform work at floor level, waist level or above shoulders

Qualifications Education/Experience:

High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
