Restaurant custodian Confidential/Service 2720 Fairforest Clevedale Road, Spartanburg, SC 29301 Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Custodian to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all occupants. This role requires attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Duties Perform routine cleaning tasks including restaurant equipment cleaning and vacuuming in designated areas. Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify maintenance needs and report any issues promptly. Assist with commercial cleaning tasks in various settings, ensuring high standards of cleanliness are met. Support facilities maintenance by performing minor repairs and upkeep as needed. Ensure all cleaning supplies and equipment are used safely and stored properly after use. Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines while performing custodial duties. Skills Proven experience in custodial or commercial cleaning roles is preferred. Knowledge of facilities maintenance practices is advantageous. Restaurant Kitchen experience very important Ability to maintain cleanliness in both industrial and residential settings. Attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards. Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. Strong communication skills to interact with team members and facility occupants professionally.
