Office Cleaner Laurel Business Institute 345 Patricia Ln, Fort Mill, SC 29708 Office building in Fort Mill, SC needs an experienced individual to clean offices and general use areas for 4 hours per day 6 p.m. -10 p.m. Monday-Thursday and Saturday 9:00am – 5:00pm. We are looking for a Custodian to join our team! The custodian is responsible for performing general cleaning of the facility as well as assistance with basic building maintenance tasks. He/she may be required to assist in other areas as required. Other duties may be assigned as necessary. Responsibilities and Duties
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Clean all restroom facilities, e.g., sinks, toilets, floors, and walls. Empty trash and recycling containers. Clean upholstered furniture; clean and polish other furniture and fixtures. Sweep and mop floors. Run mechanical auto scrubber in hallways, corridors, etc. Buff hard surface floors with an electric buffer. Vacuum and shampoo carpets and furniture as needed. Strip and wax floors. Wash walls and windows. Report maintenance repairs, damaged furniture, or other maintenance or safety concerns to the facilities office. Fill various dispensers, e.g., restrooms, and lids for coffee cups.
NON-ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Maintain the custodial closet in a neat and orderly fashion. Occasionally responsible for exterior work, e.g., snow removal, entrance cleaning, and trash removal. Maintain up-to-date with professional credentials, best practices, and current disciplines including continued educational requirements through certifications, seminars, training programs, etc. Maintain and develop work-related knowledge, skills, and competencies related to the job through professional and cross-training opportunities.
