General Cleaner Commercial Building Services Inc Tullahoma, TN 37388 Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various settings, including commercial, industrial, and residential environments. This role requires a proactive approach to cleaning tasks and a commitment to upholding high standards of hygiene and safety. Responsibilities Perform routine cleaning tasks in commercial, industrial, and residential spaces to ensure a clean and safe environment. Maintain cleanliness in assigned areas by dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors. Conduct thorough floor care including buffing and polishing as needed. Handle custodial duties such as emptying trash bins, sanitizing restrooms, and replenishing supplies. Assist with facilities maintenance tasks as required to support overall operations. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies while performing cleaning duties. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel promptly. Qualifications Previous experience in industrial cleaning or commercial cleaning preferred. Familiarity with custodial practices and procedures is a plus. Knowledge of floor care techniques including buffing is advantageous. Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards. Excellent time management skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. A proactive attitude towards problem-solving and maintaining cleanliness in all assigned areas.
