DESCRIPTION
Greenway Kia Rivergate is currently looking for an outgoing and dependable individual to maintain the dealership lot. The Lot Attendant / Porter will locate and move vehicles and inspect vehicles for damage, move customer vehicles in and around the lot and service areas, ensure vehicles are kept in a clean and damage free manner, and help with cleaning and custodial duties in the shop and lot areas. The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, an unrestricted driver’s license and a clean driving record, a positive attitude and professional appearance, and great communication skills. Candidates must be willing and able to work in a non-climate controlled environment that includes enduring the heat of summer and the cold of winter and must be able to drive both automatic and standard transmission vehicles. Experience as a Lot attendant and/or knowledge of automotive servicing and repair is a plus.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Keep vehicle lots neat and orderly, moving cars as directed and in accordance with dealership display standards Moves vehicles to maintain flow of traffic Makes key tags for vehicles Retrieves vehicles for customers when picking up, waiting at the vehicle and thanking customers for their business Helps maintain a clean and safe service area by performing general cleaning duties (trash removal, sweeping, etc.) Follows all safety and security procedures Performs other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or GED preferred Previous experience preferred Unrestricted driver’s license and clean driving record Able to drive both automatic and standard-transmission vehicles Able to safely operate motor vehicles in tight and small spaces Neat, clean, and professional appearance Strong customer service skills Basic computer and internet skills
