Janitorial Worker S & j cleaning systems 695 Grassmere Park, Nashville, TN 37211 Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Janitor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various facilities, ensuring that all areas are safe, sanitary, and welcoming. This role is essential in providing a clean environment for both employees and visitors, contributing to the overall efficiency and professionalism of our operations. Duties Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors. Execute floor care activities such as buffing and polishing to maintain high standards of cleanliness. Conduct commercial cleaning duties in offices, restrooms, break rooms, and other common areas. Maintain cleanliness in outdoor spaces as a porter, ensuring the exterior is presentable. Assist with facilities maintenance tasks as needed to support overall building upkeep. Carry out industrial cleaning processes when required to ensure compliance with safety standards. Participate in residential painting projects when necessary to enhance facility aesthetics. Follow established cleaning schedules and protocols while adhering to safety guidelines. Experience Previous experience in custodial or janitorial roles is preferred but not mandatory. Familiarity with floor care techniques, including buffing and maintenance of various flooring types. Knowledge of commercial cleaning practices and equipment operation is advantageous. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
