Essential Duties and Responsibilities Sweeps, mops, scrubs, and vacuum hallways, stairs, and office spaces; dusts all areas of buildings and furniture Empties trash containers Operates carpet and furniture shampoo machines and equipment Performs table and chair and other required setup and cleanup for room rentals, court, and miscellaneous meetings Responds to a building or maintenance problem in a reasonable amount of time Collects mail Makes regular bank deposits Performs other duties as assigned Qualifications Valid driver’s license Basic computer knowledge Knowledge of all types of cleaning chemicals, floor finishes and their application Ability to read and understand verbal or written job instructions and warning labels Proficient in use of power tools preferred (circular saw, reciprocating saw, cordless drill, pressure washer, etc.) Ability to balance several tasks at one time Strong communication, organization, and record keeping skills Ability to work in various weather conditions Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with the public and other employees Ability to stand, walk, sit, bend, reach, push, pull, run, climb stairs or ladders, maneuver equipment, and lift objects weighing up to 50 lbs. is required Ability to pass a background check, drug screen, and pre-employment physical
