Janitorial Worker Position Available In Hamilton, Tennessee

Job Title:

Janitorial Worker Job Description In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that maintenance facilities, including garages, locker rooms, breakrooms, and related spaces, are kept clean, organized, and safe. Your duties will include sweeping, mopping, dusting, and disposing of waste materials, as well as maintaining general cleanliness and orderliness in all maintenance areas. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work efficiently in a dynamic environment. This position plays a key role in ensuring that the fleet maintenance team has a clean and functional workspace to carry out their tasks effectively. Responsibilities Maintain cleanliness in offices, conference and training rooms, restrooms, locker rooms, break areas, stairwells, and hallways. Perform daily trash removal and restock supplies in break rooms and other common areas. Clean and inspect eyewash stations, light fixtures, doors, and high-touch surfaces regularly. Monitor facility conditions, reporting issues such as needed painting or repairs. Support a safe and organized environment through dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping as needed. Essential Skills Ability to follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized environment. Basic knowledge of cleaning equipment, materials, and supplies. Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently. Good time management skills to prioritize and complete tasks efficiently. Ability to maintain good attendance and a flexible schedule. Physical ability to perform cleaning tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods. Occasionally lifting up to 50 lbs. Commitment to safety, cleanliness, and good personal hygiene. Additional Skills & Qualifications Computer skills are a plus for work orders and tracking cleaning schedules. Why Work Here? Pay:

$18/hr

Shift/Schedule:

1st – 7:00am to 4:00pm Monday-Thursday; 7:00am to 1:00pm on Friday Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 – $18.00/hr.
