JOB SUMMARY

This position is responsible for the washing and refurbishing of packaging materials used in the pack out stage of the chemical production process.

EDUCATION
Required:

High school diploma or

GED EXPERIENCE
Required:

1 year experience in an industrial environment

Preferred:

1+ years in a chemical production environment

CORE COMPETENCIES

(Essential Job Functions) 1) Wear mandatory PPE at all times. 2) Load and unload material from trailers using a forklift and/or pallet jack. 3) Maintain the organization of the back dock as it relates to inbound packaging items. 4) Operate small hand tools used to refurbish totes. 5) Operate tote wash island in safe and efficient manner. 6) Operate drum wash station in safe and efficient manner. 7) Follow all chemical washout guidelines, making sure that incompatible chemicals NEVER enter the wastewater discharge system together. 8) Ensure that all packaging items are washed in a timely fashion making sure that the back dock does not overflow with inbound material. 9) Complete paperwork documenting output and submit to supervisor at end of every shift. 10) Complete other duties and special projects upon request.
