Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Custodian to maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards across our manufacturing facility. The Custodian plays a vital role in ensuring a safe, clean, and orderly environment that supports the efficiency and safety of production operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, offices, locker rooms, and common areas. Sweep, mop, vacuum, and scrub floors using manual and motorized cleaning equipment. Empty trash and recycling bins throughout the facility; replace liners as needed. Maintain cleanliness of production areas without interfering with manufacturing processes. Clean windows, walls, doors, and other surfaces to remove dust, grease, or other residue. Perform routine inspections to identify areas that need attention or repairs. Replenish supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet paper. Operate floor scrubbers, buffers, and other industrial cleaning equipment safely. Follow all safety procedures and wear appropriate PPE when handling cleaning chemicals. Report maintenance issues (e.g., leaks, damages) to the facilities manager.
