Maintain and clean all floor surfaces, including sweeping,mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming Follow procedures for the use ofchemical cleaners and power equipment, to prevent damage to floorsand other objects Clean, monitor, and maintain restrooms, fittingrooms, corridors, and store entrance areas Empty trash cans forproper disposal; use of compactor for certain materials Cleanwindows, glass partitions, and mirrors using appropriate cleanersand equipment Spot clean carpets; assist in carpet extractions andshampooing Replenish paper products and sanitary supplies. Followhousekeeping schedule Occasionally use heavy cleaning equipment,such as floor scrubbers, backpack vacuums, and buffers.
