Role:

The Non Union Janitor Nights position is essential for maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment at the our Smyrna facility. This role involves performing a variety of cleaning tasks to ensure that all areas are hygienic and presentable for employees and visitors alike. The janitor will be responsible for managing waste disposal, cleaning restrooms, and ensuring that common areas are tidy and well-maintained. Attention to detail and a commitment to high standards of cleanliness are crucial for this position. Ultimately, the janitor plays a vital role in supporting the overall operations of the facility by creating a pleasant atmosphere for all who enter.

Minimum Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience in janitorial or custodial work preferred. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

Preferred Qualifications:

Familiarity with cleaning chemicals and supplies. Basic knowledge of safety procedures related to cleaning and maintenance. Experience working in a manufacturing or industrial environment.

Responsibilities:

Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors. Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, and other common areas. Manage waste disposal and recycling efforts throughout the facility. Restock supplies such as paper towels, toilet paper, and soap as needed. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel.
