Cleaner/Janitor Maid My Week Cleaning Bartlett, TN 38115 Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Janitor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all occupants. This role requires a proactive approach to custodial duties, with a focus on both residential and commercial cleaning standards. Responsibilities Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming to maintain cleanliness in assigned areas. Conduct floor care activities such as buffing and stripping floors to ensure they are well-maintained. Assist with industrial cleaning tasks as needed, ensuring compliance with safety standards. Carry out facilities maintenance duties, including minor repairs and upkeep of equipment. Maintain cleanliness in restrooms and common areas, restocking supplies as necessary. Respond promptly to cleaning requests from staff or management to address urgent needs. Ensure all cleaning supplies and equipment are used safely and stored properly after use. Skills Proven experience in custodial or commercial cleaning roles is preferred. Familiarity with floor care techniques, including buffing and maintenance of various flooring types. Knowledge of residential painting techniques is a plus for maintaining aesthetic appeal in facilities. Strong attention to detail with the ability to clean thoroughly and efficiently. Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
