JOB SUMMARY
Perform designated professional and clinical tasks such as pharmacotherapy services, medication profile review, response to drug information questions, patient counseling and tasks associated with the preparation, labeling, checking, monitoring and delivering of medications, including sterile admixtures, prepackaged or unit dose medications. In addition, and in accordance with accepted national standards, federal and state laws, and hospital/department policies and procedures, a clinical staff pharmacist is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the pharmacy department to ensure excellence in patient care.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor of Science or PharmD Degree in Pharmacy Currently licensed as a registered pharmacist in Vermont PGY1 Residency or 3 years hospital experience desired Basic computer skills The University of Vermont Health Network/Porter Medical Center is located in the heart of beautiful Middlebury, Vermont. We are comprised of a 25-bed acute care facility, a 98-bed skilled nursing facility which includes a memory care unit, short-term rehabilitation unit and a long-term care unit, and a network of primary care and specialty medical practices throughout Addison county and the town of Brandon.
