Janitorial Supervisor 3.2 3.2 out of 5 stars Rutland, VT 05701 Job description Janitronics has an immediate need for a multi-site 2nd shift supervisor to manage and ensure that all cleaning tasks are up to standard and employees are properly engaged, trained, and managed at an School/office setting in the Bennington Vermont Area.
Scope of Responsibility:
We are looking for a trustworthy, take-charge individual to join our growing business as a site supervisor. The role of a site supervisor has broad responsibilities, from managing staff and overseeing projects, to maintaining safety protocols and implementing site procedures. Our ideal candidate is experienced, responsible, and team-focused. A customer service focused individual is absolutely necessary.
Shift Available Schedule:
Monday-Friday 5:00pm-2:30am Occasional Weekends Valid Driver’s License and vehicle required Wage $23.00/hour Paid Training Pay day is every
Friday Essential Job Functions:
Supervises and coordinates activities of workers engaged in janitorial services Assigns janitorial work to employees, following material and work requirements Inspects work performed to ensure conformance to specifications and established standards Records personnel data per specified systems & forms Recommends personnel actions, such as hires and discharges, to ensure proper staffing Confers with staff to resolve production and personnel problems Trains workers in janitorial methods and procedures and proper operation of equipment. Issues janitorial supplies and equipment to workers to ensure quality and timely delivery of services.
Scope of Responsibility:
Knows the formal and informal departmental goals, standards, policies and procedures which may include some familiarity of other departments within the organization. Is sensitive to the interrelationship of both people and functions within the department.
Decision Making:
On a regular and continuous basis, exercises administrative judgement and assumes responsibility for decisions, consequences, and results having an impact on people, costs, and/or quality of service within the functional area.
Authority:
May oversee or coordinate the work of others.
Communication:
Exchanges non-routine information using tact and persuasion as appropriate requiring good oral and written communication skills.

At least 5 year of related experience preferred
